The way this build works is that Energy Shield takes 95% of the damage you take and converts it to your mana instead of your health.
The remaining 5% is absorbed by the various +Mdr and +Dr items. (not % Dr)
What happens is that your character takes literal zero actual damage to your health, so all that matters is that you keep some amount of mana.
The character should survive at least one hit of anything in the game, while most attacks in the game take much more than that to break the mana shield.
If your mana gets low, just switch to Insight on swap and teleport around until it refills. It takes about 3 seconds for your mana to become 100% full again.
There are some characters that can kill you, but most don't stand a chance.

Some of this gear was VERY difficult to find.
The bin price is 6k without the boots, I haven't decided the bin yet with the boots.

it doesnt die but what can it kill where does the damage come from, i understand not dying but couldnt i just make a warcry barb and double hoto tele around

I think you are missing the point. A warcry barb takes damage normally, this character does not.

I kill people with Blaze/Fire Wall, Frozen Orb, Thunder Storm, and hell, I'll even smack them with the DoomZ because you can get away with it.

Icing on the cake is the fact that it's very difficult to absorb all three elements.

vouch build, i have one tweaked to be a little less tanky, more life rep and be able to kill quickly with firewall, still missing all my charms and loving it

Gls bro, I once tried to make a sorc like this, inspired by this sorc probably (cuz I am sure I came across her several times in 2008-12) but failed miserably due to not finding the right gear.
