Why use level 89's to craft your blood rings (a.k.a. the crafting information):

Ring (Gamble + Craft):

No less than L77, for every Ring to have a chance of picking +(16-20) to Strength (S: ''of the Titan'') as well as the other modifiers.
No less than L80, for every Ring to have a chance of picking (7-8)% Life stolen per hit (S: ''of the Lamprey'').
No less than L89, for every Ring to have a chance of picking 6% Mana stolen per hit (S: ''of the Vampire'').

When each ring is gambled, "'of the Vampire'' suffix can never be selected on a ring unless both gambling and crafting are done with at least L84. Thus, if you do not want it, you can just stick with characters levels 77-83.

In each case iLvl is large enough that you always get exactly 4 random affixes (no more, no less).
As with rare quality items, there is a maximum of 3 prefixes or 3 suffixes per item, hence only the following configurations are possible:

1P3S (1 prefix, 3 suffixes)
2P2S (2 of each)
3P1S (3 prefixes, 1 suffix)

This is, of course, in addition to the modifiers that are granted by the recipe (+1-5 to Strength, 1-3% Life stolen per Hit, and +10-20 to Life).

How Do I Craft?

Take one of each item (base item, gem, rune, & jewel), put in Horadric cube, and transmute into a crafted item.
The order you put them in the cube doesn't matter.
Craft in any difficulty since crafting in normal, nightmare or hell has no effect on the outcome.

What Affects Outcome?

Only gambler character level of the base item (me), and the crafter character level (you) affect the outcome.
Stats on base items (amulets, rings, etc) doesn't affect the outcome.
Stats on jewels doesn't affect the outcome.
All jewels work (magic, rare, and even facets).

More Information about crafting:

Crafted items spawn with 3 fixed and 4 variable properties
Blood Rings will always have the fixed properties of: +1-5 to Strength, 1-3% Life stolen per Hit, and +10-20 to Life, and 4 other variable/random properties.
Sometimes a variable spawn is identical to a fixed one so they add together, or stack.
Ideal character level to craft Blood Rings is 89 - 94 since ilvl is +/-4.

Below is good example of what can spawn:

Please remember all crafting is gambling. Even though blood rings can craft gg melee rings. You have an equal chance of FCR spawning on Blood Ring Craft Packs as you do on Caster Ring Craft Packs. Caster ring craft packs are actually mana regeneration ring craft packs.
