many people are returning to AOC with this update. it's supposed to be more balanced, eliminated 1-shots, and made things a lot more interesting. they added a new area as well as new abilities, and changed many abilities and feats for every class

this update definitely made a LOT of changes, some of which could be called nerfs to some classes, but so far everyone i've spoken to is very happy with the update and have no complaints about imbalances
i'm still downloading it - it takes about 2 hours to download on DSL or cable

hopefully with this update and the supposed expansion that will be released, new and old players will be coming to age of conan, and additionally i hope this forum will become more active!
