how do u get the drinking cape what do u for trade i dont understand the via code and w/e

if you signed up for the aoc beta, even if you didn't get in you they sent a code to everyone who signed up. You get it in your email and you apparently do /claim ingame with the code and you get this magnificent cape.

Actually you have to enter the code at register.ageofconan.com after you've logged in.
There should be a link called "Use a Key" or something like that.
Enter the key they sent you there and update.
Then ingame you simply type /claim in the chat window and the cape is in your inventory, if it's not full that is.
