tight thanks mate. for my birthday i think im going to bump up to 4gigs of ram and maybe vista so i can do DX 10

2 Gigs of Ram/ 8800 Gt Athlon 5200 Dual core runs perfectly, and really not too bad on price.

32bit is arround 3,25 gb's

if you got 64bit you can use 8 or 16 gb^^

Well yes, and no.

You could probably run 2 gigs with xp but not vista. Though its mainly the video card thats the biggest problem imo
You guys should look into upgrading it to a 8800GT/9600GT (about $150-$180 atm but should be going down soon with the new video cards that are coming out)
Maybe a better proccessor but mainly the vid card
