I bought the game at realease and hit 50-ish before i quit. i just recently bought the expansion to give the game a go again, and so far I'm pleased. They have changed ALOT! Hopefully they take advantage of the potential this game got

True and they fixed most of the bugs, it was basically the main reason why I left AoC in the early months of its release. I recently watched the "Conan the destroyer" and I was like "darn, real tempting to start AoC again" so well, I'm back and quite satisfied.

90% of people who try this game again that quit at release are extremely pleased. It's a completely different game now, and much, much better.

And you think games are good when they're F2P? How often do you think this game would get updated if it were free? Honestly, I'd rather pay 15 bucks a month for a game just to avoid kids that get their parents to pay for their subscriptions, and the fact that there's updates more often..You think WoW would have gone far if it was free? It would never get updated, and you'd probably be buying a new expansion every three months and then complaining about that too. AoC is an excellent game, the decapitations were pretty awesome, and not many kids played it.
