I played WoW end-game for a long time. I've seen every dungeon and successfully killed every boss (up to black temple).
I've levelled 4 different classes to 70, and had a handful of twinked pvp chars.
Now, going from that into Conan, here are my views.
WoW is a much, much older game, with many of the bugs worked out.
Conan is brand new. It has bugs. A LOT of them.
Here are some examples:
1 - I hope you dont plan on questing with anyone. Because if you do, chances are good you will have to run a lot of the quests twice, as when one person picks up an item or something for the quest it does NOT register with the other members of the group for that same quest.
2 - Some of the skills just plain don't work. At all. Nothing happens when you trigger them. This is just sloppy programming and a sign of a beta release.
3 - I hope you don't play a rogue class thinking that stealth is worth anything - because it isn't. It's 100% luck if something sees you or not, regardless of how dark the shadow you're standing in is.
4 - Expect to fall through the floor a handful of times. Only way to get out is to relog. Also, expect some client crashes, especially when they put out a minor client update.
Now, AoC does have a few advantages:
1 - The graphics are far and away better than the low-poly WoW style. If you have a pc that can support it.
2 - Combat system is 100x better. It feels slower paced than WoW for the most part, but not too much. (Yes, I said slower. In AoC you have to hit the arrow attacks to do combos to do anything special to a mob. In WoW, you hit the button and it did the attack directly. Playing a rogue/warrior in WoW is much, much faster paced than anythng in AoC).
3 - Guild castles rock.
4 - Adult content and nudity will HOPEFULLY keep all the 8 year olds the hell away from our MMO.
Now keep in mind I'm only lvl 37 so far, but I've seen multiple vids of lvl 80 chars, and I've watched my friend play his 80 guardian, so I have a good point of view as far as what is what.
Endgame so far is a handful of dungeons, PvP and rolling a new character. PvP is EXTREMELY rock-paper-scissors based, except it isn't balanced yet, some classes have a clear advantage over many others. At least in WoW you had a shot against any other class if you played it right. In AoC, it doesn't matter how good you are if you have a class that is gimped.
When all is said and done though, I'm banking it on AoC for now. I don't play WoW anymore. I'm hoping that AoC will offer a more diverse endgame, and more pvp options in the end.
sup dude. did you play WoW at launch? or any mmo at launch? WoW was worse than AoC. you couldn't go 10ft without falling through the ground. you had to wait in line just to log in. zzz

fixed on the last update, along with fixing markers and adding new content2 - Some of the skills just plain don't work. At all. Nothing happens when you trigger them. This is just sloppy programming and a sign of a beta release.
most likely due to warhammer. it sucks.but getting fixed in every update3 - I hope you don't play a rogue class thinking that stealth is worth anything - because it isn't. It's 100% luck if something sees you or not, regardless of how dark the shadow you're standing in is.
getting a total revamp4 - Expect to fall through the floor a handful of times. Only way to get out is to relog. Also, expect some client crashes, especially when they put out a minor client update. I fell once after a month of play.
Crashed once after a month of play.adding one more
5- There are some graphical issues that cause a memory leak and huge drops in FPS
