not useless when we do siege battles. they play a good roll

yeah, horses are the only fast travel mounts, mammoth and rhino = siege = destroy buildings and attack enemys

I dont know about looks. But every1 can get something that works equally aswell. Its likely just a special skin. Like blue raptor vs white raptor in wow etc.
