So who has played beta (or atleast checked up alot of information ) and what are your thoughts about AoC?

Personally played a Bear Shaman and a Guardian in beta, and although the current freez ups are annoying the game is wonderfull
The graphics are really amazing , and you really feel that you are into the scenery.
Although the combos are really limited at low lvl, cant wait to get past 20 and start obtaining the real combos.

What are your thoughts about the FFA (free for all) PvP servers, will this result in ganking or will it also be a possibilie for huge fun gaming experiences?
Personally i still dont know whatever to take RP PvP or if i will take a PvE Server.

I have checked alot of informations, but didn't get access to the beta.
I'm either going to play Priest of Mitra or te mpest of set, don't really know which to choose, I liked Tos more, but all the spell animations look the same.
Something is really bothering me, you can't keybing each spell bars :S

Personally, I'm not goind to play on a PvP server, i t will only be a gank fest IMO.

Btw, I'm wondering If I could run the game, I have 1.5gb ram + 2.8 mghz

Really should have 2 gig of ram to run this game and is that 2.8 a duel core?
A good GFX card is pretty important aswell cause the graphics are very intensive (although you can really tune them way down if you want)
Their is a check up program on nvidea site i believe to check your system if its able to run AoC, might wanne take a peek there.

Yeah ganking will be common, although i have quite a few friends comming along and ffa pvp also has fun game experienced (guild encounter etc) so we will have to wait and see.
The game will have different spawn locations / spawn protections / and a bounty system (although not much info has been released yet about this system).

I will most probarly end up on a RP PvP server (ordered the full hardcover book that contains the full crons of conan written by Robert E. Howard)

And the AoC world is indeed very brutal by those rules, thats why i am trying to get as many people along with me when retail hits.

Is there alot of difference between low and high graphics ? And what's the average price for a decent graphic card ?

Well im on europe so we dont really match i am afraid.
And offcoures their is alot of difference between high and low graphics , especially in AoC (wich will use DX10 aswell)

As for a graph card you really should check up some of your local retailer orso.
A card i would recommend would be the 8800 series very descent cards, and if you wanne even spend more $$ try the 9xxx series.

They are kinda out of my budget, the 8800 sells for 300ish..

Think the 7xxx series can run it aswelll but i would not go any lower else you will encounter to many performance issues's
Although their still tweaking the performacne so not really sure what the end min spec requirement is.
AoC is a HEAVY game to run on, so its very lickely most people will have to upgrade their PC a bit.

Mainly tested the BS and the Guardian and for a few lvls the ToS.
The ToS plays like a mage (lighting and thunder with aoe), but since the melee system gives alot more possibilities i prefer to play as melee in this game.
But the ToS will have acces to spellweaving aswell later on in the game, so suppose this class is fairly interesting aswell.
Was almost sure before i played beta to take a PoM but he is mainly CC (crowd control) and thats really great, but really not my cup of tea in the end.
Still like to damage more then just to stun/knockback people, but in PvP encounters the PoM is really a annoying and fearsome foo wich is a huge threat in the hands of the enemy team.

The producers said that the healers will not be spa***, so the PoM should be able to dps fairly well, right ?
I really hope that there will be more then 2 "minigames".
And I hope that we will be able to duel people
