Hey guys,
I will be moving to Odense in August and looking for any advice on how and where to search for a flat to rent or room.
I have found a couple Dansk and English sites and facebook groups aswell but so far no luck. It might be just too early right now for August i guess.

Anyone have any advice that he / she would like to share with me?

Right now plan B is if I dont find anything by the time i need to go, I will just book a room with airdnb or something similar and stay 2 weeks in the city to find a flat. How likely will this method work?

If you are going to study in Odense, I am quite sure they have a policy that ensure some kind of housing if you don't find anything. Not sure if this is for Danes only.

Are these safe sites to pay for? Do they hold accountable information?

And as for the policy goes i think there is an agreement that everything that applies to Dansk ppl must apply to EU students living in Denmark also. Not sure tho.

btw one Danish site scammed me for like 400 dkk because it automatically subscribed me however I only paid like 3 days ( 40 DKK or something) It was either boligsurf or boligportal
Anyhow i called my bank to solve it but still.... Sooooooooo obvious i should have known better
