Hvis nyere film er i tankerne, så kunne I jo tage hobbit filmene med og modificere reglerne til dem også.

So, before you start each player has to allocate themselves a Lord of the Rings name, no one can have the same name, which is a lot of fun if you have a lot of players, you have to start pulling in the Haldirs and Eomers. Everyone must be called by their LOTR name for the length of the game, and anyone who does otherwise must take 2 drinks.
Now for the official rules:
Everyone must have one drink whenever..
1. There's a close-up of the ring
2. Someone draws a sword
3. Someone speaks in elvish (the language of Mordor counts)
4. Merry and/or Pippin do/say something stupid
5. There's a gay look/line/implication between Frodo and Sam
6. Legolas says something poetic or looks off into the distance
7. Gandalf says something wise/mysterious
8. Someone speaks about the Strength of Men or Aragorn's bloodline/future.
9. Out of respect, when a character of importance passes away - SKULL.
10. Whenever Legolas does something kick-arse (can be judged by the participants)
11. Whenever Frodo falls over.
12. Whenever there is an Elf vs. Dwarf moment.
13. At the "Share the Load" moment in the last movie, the person with the least alcohol in their drinking vessel must skull that of the person with the most.
OPTIONAL RULES:
(I had to add this, because there were some really awesome rule suggestions, but we just had so many already. So here's a few rules you can choose whether or not to play with)
1. When Gimli makes a reference to being tossed, the character allocated to be Gimli must try and leap from one chair to another. If he lands it, all except gimli drink. If he doesn't, he must drink.
2. Whenever there is a motivational pre-battle speech (eg. Aragorn's at the Black Gate) all must stand and then down their drink at the end.
3. Drink every time you hear a Ringwraithe scream.
4. Every time somebody shoots an arrow, have a drink (be careful with helms deep scenes)
5. Every time you hear someone say 'precious' have a drink.
6. Every time you spot the body/stunt double, give your drink to someone else
7. When Eowyn takes her helmet off before she slays the Witch King, the last person to proclaim "back to the kitchen with thee, wench" must down their drink.
8. During the Lurtz vs Borimir scene one shot must be lined up every time an arrow hits. The characters playing Aragorn and Boromir must act out the final dialogue before Boromir's death. If they succeed then they may allocate the shots to whoever they like amongst the group. (they don't all have to go to the same person) If they fail, Aragorn and Boromir must drink the shots themselves.
And this is for the diehard fans;
If you say a line in time with the movies (correctly) you may allocate 3 drinks.
HOWEVER, if you don't get the line right, say one wrong word etc, you must take 3 drinks.
The first player to pass out/vomit should be made to walk around a heavily populated area dressed as either a hobbit, an elf or Gandalf.
The last one standing/conscious/not vomitting is.. THE LORD OF THE RING.
PS: INTERNATIONAL DRINKING RULES APPLY
(ie: No drinking with the right hand, no pointing, no saying the word "drink")
