Can i borrow 15$ of you?
A man got late home from work, tired and irritable. at the door waited his 5 years old son.
son: "dad, can i ask you about something?"
dad: "off course, what was u wondering about?" said the man.
son: "dad, how much do you earn in the hour?"
dad: "you got nothing to do with that! why you ask about that?" said the man angry
son: "i was just wondering. cant you be so nice and tell me?"
dad: "if u haft to now it, i get 35$ per hour"
son: "ahh", said the son and looked down in the floor. "could i borrow 15$ of you?"
the dad got really angry. "if the only reason you wanna know how much i earn, so that you can go out and buy a stupid toy or something else, then you can go right to your room and go to bed. Think about how stupid you are! i dont work many hours a day so that you can go out and buy stuff like that!"
the kid went silent into his room and closed the door.
the man went over to sit down in his cheer and got more and more angry over his sons question. "how dare him to ask how much i earn just so he can get money?"
around an hour later had the man calmed down abit and started to think abit:
Maybe the kid really needed that money to buy something he really needed, and he usually never ask to get any money... The man went to the kid bedrooms door, and knocked and opened.
"are you sleeping?" he asked.
"no, dad, i'm awake," said the kid
"i have thinked abit and maybe i was abit mad at you," said the man. "it has been a long day and unfortunately i took my anger on you. here you have the 15$ you asked to borrow..."
the kid went fast up and smiled and yelled: "thanx alot, dad!" then he took his hand under his pillow and draged out some curled money.
When his dad noticed that his son already had money, he started to get angry again.
His son slowly started to count the money and looked up to his dad.
"Why should you have more money when you allready had" rumbled his dad.
"Because i didn't had enough, but now i do!" said the son. "Dad, now i have 35$. Can i buy 1 hour of your time, because then you can get home earlier tomorrow and eat dinner with us?"
His Dad was crushed. and took his arms around him and asked for forgiveness.
This is just a reminder for all you that work alot.
We shouldnt just let the time run away for the people that really care about us, the people that stand close to us, please remember its worth those 35$ to those people that stand you really close.
If we die tomorrow, will the company manage to replace you in few hours; but family and friends we leave, will miss you the rest of their lives.
