hi guys, my name is Matija Stojakovic ( Ja sam Matija ? ). my dad is Croatian (from Zagreb) but he moved to Belgium with my mom.
so i'm half belgian and half croatian. I've been in Croatia many times when i was a kid, but i haven't been there since i was 12. (Im 25 now )
I forgot to speak most of the language, only a few words (mostly swearwords) remain :/
anyway,
just found out today there's a croatian subforum on jsp and i couldn't resist coming to say Hi!

I hope u realise that u will need to spend all ur money in Croatia during vacation in attempt to learn more of the language

yeah i should. i'm saving up to go to Guar and Zagorje with my girlfriend. And trying to get my dad to teach me some, but he doesn't want to

hello hope you will come on adriatic sea for me that sea is most lovely sea in whole world if you come on seaside you will se what means sea ;D...nn zagorje

my family's got a cabin in Zagorje and my great-uncle Zlatko still lives there, so i want to go there for sure

but Guar (dunno if that's spelled right) is an island, so that's sea right.

Nice - my father in law also have cabin there
And i must admit that i have never heard for Guar

we went there lots on vacation when i was a kid. Mostly it was devided like this: 1 week in Zagreb visiting my grandparents and uncle, 1 week of Zagorje to visit my greatuncle and 1 week Hvar for some quality family time
