First of all, sorry for 'spaming' there, report/close topic if u feel like...
My question is:
How are u connected with your traditional folk dances?
U know, im a member of a dance group in Hungary, perfroming Bulgarian dances mainly
We'd gone to Sofia for a week every summer to learn some more dances by hiring a teacher, practisisng 6-7 hours/day

This group is 5 years old, we had a performance yesterday (pic:)

Nice...many ppl all over the world like our folk dances, there are dance troops even in Japan
personaly,i have been practising this for like 12 years{yet i am still in the dance formation)
One thing though...you wont see any realy native dances by visiting a teacher:yes they can show alot, but the real thing you can see
only by visiting a village wedding for instance:seen steps there i havent even heard about
Ofc,as the poster above said our youngsters dont even know what Kopanica means(mainly of their great stupidity and ingnorance)
Съжалявам че пиша на енглиш тук но исках да помогна на човека
