considering joining a LS based guild.

would like to be able to use (borrow) some of guild's very godly stuff to climb with if i'm in need
being paid for guild points is a plus
my own rank and/or senior position is a plus as well

I will actually be paying the guild fee to xfer my guild to a friend for safekeeping for me.

so you're going to join a ladder slasher guild while your friend "holds" your guild for you. aka you're planning on coming back to your current guild? Why not just slash for your current guild?

correct, however i don't know if /when I'll be going back though
guilds don't sell for much these days, even with as many features as mines.
rather just retain ownership and control and keep it as an asset
I had founded d2jsp guild: Alliance (East NL), but these days I no longer have the time to manage, recruit, and develop Sith Lords.
I have a irl job now, and no one in my current guild slashes anyhow.
I want people to cata with and the other benefits of an LS based guild

eh, just sounds fishy since you're saying you want to join a LS guild to use all their "godly" gear, and yet you're keeping your guild around "just in case". Sounds like there could be some serious problems arising. Anyway, if you're interested, we do have a few slashers in our guild. The application process is outlined in the guild charter.

I encourage people who are making decisions about accepting a prospective recruit, to research that individual before making an offer or acceptance of membership.
I have been around a long time, and will let people draw their own conclusions.

Very few guilds will just simply give you their gear to borrow. It takes time to build up respect and trust within the guild, and if you're coming into it expecting to leave soon then I think many people would be wary to loan you their "godly" gear. You've got 40k+, can't you afford to buy your own gear? It's not like having super godly gear is necessary for playing the game

Also, most guilds have realized that paying for guild points is like paying for sex (basically, it's just a lot better when it's earned rather than bought), though there are still a few who do it. It is actually looked down upon by some players in the LS community, but not so much to the players receiving the fg but rather those guilds in general. Though it is a good way for someone who is broke to make some fg to upgrade their gear ;) (but I'm not exactly sure if that applies here).

I'm not trying to sound like a dick or anything - but don't think that just because you're an 05 with some fg you can get a free personal rank with powers + godly gear from whichever guild you like.

You're welcome to check out my guild, but after what I just said I doubt that you'll want to  but I promise that we're nice and helpful people. We don't have lots of great gear or mass fg to throw around like the other guilds though, but I think that the people matter more than the pixels :) anyways, good luck finding a good guild for you.

I understand your point of view..
however, i currently have 50,000 fg worth of LS items in my vault, and furthermore, I would be willing to put down an FG deposit on any items i may borrow if required...
I have handled over 1,000,000 (of other peoples FG) within the last 6 months inside the poker subforum alone
and that is just some history for the last 1/2 of year, want to hear about the 4 years prior to that? maybe ask some old timers from east, as well as many retired mods..

Let me get this straight, you want to borrow people's gear to climb the ladder so you can get paid for climbing... with the GUILDs gear...

You're also asking to borrow the guild's items while being paid for using their items, and require your own rank and / or a senior position.

This sounds EXTREMELY fishy.

you attempt to make the same exact point 2x!
also, I used the word "plus" in my iso
that means not a req, just a nice bonus
furthermore, I do expect to find a good match, although albeit it might take a little time
I can make these demands based on what I bring to the table, who I am, and who I know.

To me, this seems like a higher form of an already despicable practice -- Leeching

I would not recommend that any self-respecting guild get involved with this.
