Guild: 7 Sins
History:
2003 - Current,
Years ago, a group of 11 friends from a high school at the Los Angeles, Downtown Business Magnet High School, formed a group that was known to be the called the "Dragon 11", a.k.a., the D11. D11 was an organization developed to serve as a gamers society; formulated for several online interactional games: Starcraft Broodwar, Warcraft 2, Maplestory, Counter Strike, and Diablo 2 LOD. They strived to achieve recognition from several computer gaming-rooms such as the: VisionMax (Chinatown, Los Angeles), Cyberland (Chinatown, Los Angeles) Gamestructure (Alhambra, CA), Interplay (Alhambra, CA), and many more. Their main focus were to be a Counter-Strike Clan, however, eventually, they disperse onto their own ways due to educational purposes.
Some of the D11 members remain in touch to continue fulfilling their dreams. However, since they were no longer 11 members, they must change their group name. Recognizing a verse from the bible, one of the members came up with a new name for the group. The new name for the group, also known as today, to be "The 7 Sins". The 7 Sins is about 7 deadly sins of hell that you must avoid in order to be in heaven. However, because of their new and young lifestyle as college students, partying lives, and freedom from parental advisory, they have found themselves to be the sinners.
As time goes by, 7 sins where no longer known as a gamer's group, but as a nightlife group. The members would customize their license plate of their vehicles to include "7 Sins". Their dress code where always black to match one another. They drove and rode all black vehicles and motorcycles. They were eventually recognized as a group of bad manner, ignorant, rice-rocket motorcycle junkies. Instead of being recognized as what they originally desired for, they wanted to draw attention to be known as badass riders in their city.
The group did not last for long. These motorcycle junkies has place themselves into situations in which they have expected. They disagree and argue to a point of another dispersement of the crew. Some has retired from riding due to injuries or personal reasons. Time was also against them; many had to work and or go to school, thus providing them insufficient time to arrange a gathering.
One member suffered from a tragic motorcycle accident, restricting him from his current lifestyle. He was isolated in his home for almost half a year due to the injuries that he had sustained. Losing not only his joy of riding, he has also lost his career from excessive absences and full mobility of his left hand.
Within those 6 months, he has profound a new awakening. He utilized his time at home to continuing on building up his dreams as a recognized gamer. Today, he is known as gamenewbie@d2jsp, GamePro @ ingame d2 and many more.
Gamenewbie, was the nickname that was thought up by his younger brother. Following in the footsteps of his older brother, the name gamenewbie was developed to articulate a similarity of the name "GamePro". Since the younger brother became a retired gamer, GamePro adopted his name in memories of his brother.
Gamenewbie today is still dreaming to becoming a recognized gamer. He has established a guild on d2jsp known as "7 Sins". He desires to carry out the goals that where set out long ago by the D11. He is now currently serving as fulltime staff member of his guild.
Gamenewbie, while at home said to himself, "You either sink or swim... find your way out, or drown.. pick one.." ~I am not sitting at home doing nothing!
