Cause it's my career choice and I can't do anything about it if I don't have PS.
My cousin in NYC who is goin to school for.. fashion design, I think. Or somethin else, she said that the stuff I've made beats anything she's seen anyone else make in school. This one old dude I msg'ed that my mom knows, deals with looking at graphic designs, he says mine are unique and have great style and that I should be printing em out and making a collage to show to jobs.
GAHHHHH.

I work for a real estate development firm. We have graphic artist that work for website providers and marketing firms and I review their work and occasionally do some myself. However not as professional and intricate as the ones in your photo gallery.
If you are looking for a better job in graphic design, here is what I suggest: You need to print some of your work out on really great paper (print a variety of types of styles – and only the very best ones – people are interested in seeing a very few examples of quality NOT QUANTITY) and put in a portfolio or binder that you can buy cheaply at an office supply store and search for jobs in graphic design on line (Monster.com, Careers.com, etc), goes to employment fairs, and network with people doing what you want to do. You need a professional resume in the binder – ones that you take and leave with a couple examples of your work printed on the back or attached. Take your portfolio with you. Rehearse what you are going to say before you go with people who have gone out and gotten a really great job - I suggest your Uncle Tom. Listen to what he says and rehearse it over and over. Your work is great.
How did you learn to do this - Job, school?
