If you care anything about comfort, don't get it!

Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice bike but the r6 / r1 are made for the track more then anything.

Get yourself a cbr if you care about comfort, i love my f3 for a DD.
Ninjas arn't bad for DD use either. But gixxers and r6's are more for a track.

Glad to see i'm not the only guy on two wheels (most of the time) around here ;)

Really? I don't know to many people that like the r6 for a dd. Most of them smash the tank in and stunt them

And i agree, the seating position on the new gixxers is lame as fuck, gastank stands up 6 feet over the seat...

Make sure you take it easy on it atleast lol... Even for being a big guy, that little 600 will scoot your ass right along.

I never tracked my cbr 600 but the gsx-r 1000 i had the summer before ran a high 10 sec 1/4 (which is shitty) and some guys even break into the 9's on them lol. a 600 will be good for a low 11 sec 1/4 mile

The difference in rockets is very minimal...

if you sit a 600 / 750 / 1000 all side by side, there is maby 2 inches of difference... at most.

r6 will be just fine for you.

it will be fine to fit him. its just his back is gonna kill him

and choppers wouldnt be any good either

id recommend a honda shadow to start tho.

or you can go with a gold wing which are pretty nice bikes
