Questions first:
What weapons do you have available that a Monk can use?
Staff/Dagger

Are they EE, HM or Ints?

What robes do you have and are they stat or ee?

Some ideas for you:
Melee Option
EE staffs are normally cheap... get them cheap also
Dex robes for Staffs / daggers

Casting/Healing Option
HM gear should be getting cheaper by the dozen, so get a good deal
Int gear is expensive on both daggers/staffs, see if you can find/borrow some
Int robes again are getting expensive... maybe try and get one robe: INT/DEX... 20 minimum
Or Dex/HM... or INT/HM (this one is more expensive)

most of the guild that is on atm is in a mq group in the 50's or 60's atm

closest i got is 20

but i would gladly join and go for a mq once you guys reach 20 or so
