1st,
congratrewlations on the promotions!!

(I was away on vacation so I missed them, even though I knew they were coming)
A special gz is due to Matt for finally getting good and having no warn

I missed two weeks of chat in here (I'll catch up later today; I already caught up in our Guild Topics). August may turn out to be really busy for me. If I miss a few days it will be due to setting up my next business venture. I'm not 100% sure yet on whether it will happen but it's at the 90% stage. We have a plan, a program (a business program, not a computer program ... so 'platform' is an equivalent term), and we should have a space set. We should be able to have capital in place for it when needed. If none of the terms on the space change and if everything goes well we'll most likely have a "soft" opening in August and then a more grand opening in September. So long as we go ahead with it, it'll tie us up for much of August as we find an accountant (we should have this done quickly), set up phone lines and marketing, and get all of that stuff out of the way. And of course there's the corporate law stuff, too. That's kind of
ze wurst part.
My vacation was fun -- and well-timed. I ate too much, but I enjoyed it

We went to Kingston, then PEI, and then NB. We stayed over in Kingston for a few nights, in NB one night on the way to PEI and then two nights on the way back. We stayed in East Syracuse on the last night of the trip. We returned through the USA to get a different experience. Maine was a pretty drive.
e: stuff done:
- visited friends and relatives in Kingston
- visited relatives (of Nat) in PEI
- deep sea fishing
- explored the ocean floor (low tide -- on foot) at the Bay of Fundy
- whale watching in NB
- Nat qualified for the Duathlon World Championship next year (it'll be in BC, the race was in PEI)
I didn't get a chance to visit Rick. Originally I hoped we'd get a day or two in NS, but Nat had a pretty tight schedule in PEI (her family is everywhere there, it's weird), and our NB schedule was also fairly tight because it was mostly part of the way home.Expecting all of that ahead of time I didn't make a plan to see Rick ahead of time. So I DO plan to see him on the next trip East, probably in two years. So stay old but stay alive Rick!

It's been too long.
