Hey everyone, I'm still alive

we moved my internet from our rental house to the new house and it took like almost 2 days

which is why I haven't been online recently. Sorry to anyone else to tried to PM me because my inbox was full when I got back on.
About inactivity: these are the "rules" I typed up for ohwow and I decided to save a copy in case I'd need them again (I'm glad I did).

I'm usually faster with these things but I just notice that you requested to join the guild
I just wanted to PM you with a couple things to make sure you still want to join (basically just the "rules" or things that I might kick you out for)
1. I don't support bad mannered trading and excessive flaming. If I see or hear of any of the sort occurring I'll likely PM you a warning the first time and probably kick on the second time. I'm trying to gather together a group of friendly and well rounded players with a healthy respect for the community.
2. If you go inactive on d2jsp or LS for more than 15 days without telling me or anyone in the top ranks of the guild then you'll probably be kicked.
3. If it has been over ~30 days after joining the guild and you haven't attempted the master quest once then it's possible that I'll kick you. I hate putting this one in with these "rules" but it's happened a couple times where someone has joined and then it's been over a month later and their character is either the same level or just one or two higher and I just have to ask them to leave. It's a slashing guild and I want everyone to at least play the game a fair amount - but there are lots of exceptions to this for. For example, if you cannot afford high level gear and decide to just run from 1 - 30 or 1 - 40 and then reroll in an attempt to find better items to upgrade your climbing gear. So yeah basically I don't like putting that in there with the rules because there can be good members who still don't have any points but I don't want to see people just joining for the tag and only logging into LS once every week or two.
Uhhhh so yeah this turned out to be a lot longer than I originally thought it would be, but basically all I have left to say is that you should read the charter if you haven't already. If you're still down to join then just send me back some sort of affirmation and I'll accept you ASAP.
The ranking system works though guild points now so once you earn your first point then you go up a rank. Then once your earn a couple more you'll go up again. Once I can afford more I'll set specific numbers but I'm pretty broke at the moment so it's subject to change. Oh and also, once you earn your first point then it secures your spot in the guild, even if you go inactive or stop playing LS. Since it's free to join I pretty much just consider the first point to be your "entrance fee" so I guess you could consider the ø rank to be a trial member or something like that.
I hope that all wasn't too long and at least made some bit of sense.

So basically what it boils down to is this:
When you first join then you're put into the +0 rank. I'm considering that rank to be a trial rank - because I don't charge an entrance fee so once you earn your first point then you're set for life. So (at the moment - this is all subject to change though) if you score one point and move up a rank then go inactive for months and months I won't kick you because you earned your keep. But in the trial rank if you are inactive from JSP for 2 weeks (over 14 days) then you'll be kicked and if you haven't played LS in over 30 days then you'll be kicked
unless you warn me beforehand! I know that there's such a thing as real life and if you've got issues or whatever then just let me know and I'll be more than happy to make an exception for you. Also I'm not too sure how harsh I want to be on the "must MQ in 30 days" rule because there are way too many variables in that. I think for now I'd rather just keep it at if you go inactive (not logging in at all) for xx days then you'll be kicked.
If that doesn't make sense or anything then please PM me and I'll try to be more clear

On a totally different note - I'll totally throw all my massive 7.8 fg into a pot for that contest! That's a great idea Jesse

oh and I also just remembered that I might have some junk lying around on my old d2 accounts... does anyone here play east? I think I've got a fully geared melee/fireball sorceress which I might sell if I could get a little bit for it.
Oh and also - a really good way to make fg during a ladder reset which is often overlooked is to buy a shit-ton of tir, tal, and amn runes and then buy a bunch of 3os bows from vendors. Then make as many edge bows as you possibly can and hold onto them for a couple months until the massive sellout on NL from all the ladder items begins to die down, and start selling your edge bows for 20 fg each. Last reset I did that and people ate them up like sex chocolate - and it only costs a couple fg to make in the first place

if I had d2 installed I'd probably do that on every realm.
