Sorry mate. Give it another rest, or take a break in pussyville (i.e softcore). That's what I'm doing. I was surprised to find out you can make as much or more FG in SC, if that's what you're looking to do. If you want to MQ, it's easier as well.

edit: i just bought my lvl 30 club for 1.8k which is better than my lvl 40 axe :S

pretty good, with my shitty 134 ee lvl 55 axe, i can get up to 28 in a row, 1 -2 regen per level. If I had a better sword or club even, zero regens would happen.
