R.I.P to our friend James.

Very sad to see such a nice person go :/

Imo he deserves, in honor, to have his high rank still, its very sad to see him at the bottom of the guildlist :/

He deserves special treatment

He does deserve special treatment, but it would be awkward to leave him @ SA (if future members try to contact him for help, etc.). A high custom rank would make more sense, but then again our In Memoriam rank is already reserved for deceased members. The rank doesn't seem high, but like our Family rank, one of the perks is that it's permanent. Actually the Family rank is not always permanent. So In Memoriam is very special indeed.

I believe the in memoriam is appropriate for all of our lost soldiers, however I do believe they should be above most. Perhaps a higher place for the in memoriam rank would be appropriate? Maybe take a vote on it?

I agree and I don't. Just extremely hard to choose where it would go. How do you justify to the people under the rank why they are under someone?

But they need to be remembered in a way

We have plans to celebrate "James day" every year on July 6th. Where we can tell stories and pay our respects to one of the greats

Its pretty simple my brother from another mother. Anyone disgruntled about it obviously hasn't lived through the death of a loved one, which I understand some people haven't but... IF they can't understand it then I would probably think they are a sociopath. .

Death is painful and everyone regardless of if they've had to deal with it should (in theory) understand and respect that .

Somehow, I picture the heavenly gates and someone with a bar of soap to wash his mouth out.
I am so sorry for your loss. I am not often on jsp, but hate to come back to news like this :/

Free hugs for all of you
