People like fighter because stats are balanced
People like barbarians because they have more damage and life
Mage is a mage... more of them around because of gaining proficiencies for casting...
Hybrids (rogues/fighters) are the best character class around... also dependent on their Ranking in the skills they choose
I will always go with a barb... it has always been better in my eyes than a fickle fighter with dex... I outlive him in many ways... I outdamage him in many ways... fvck the fighter and see where it gets you... it gets you an "omg... this is a dumb character that thinks he can dance his way past anything... well news is, the dance steps are old fashion and the person using that character doe not know wtf they are doing)
Note: if you have the gear to setup a good fighter... then go fighter... if you have the gear to setup a good Barbarian, then make a barbarian... simple logic.
