and for real man ... ive buried entirely too many friends over the last decade

today marks 2 years from myself relapsing and overdosing from Fentanyl

was 5 months clean, went back did the same amount was previously doing, my dad found me slumped in a chair not breathing
crazy shit, ended up damaging my kidneys spent 4 days in hospital hooked up to tons of machines and nonsense

that was enough for me, had never OD'd even all the years of doing the shit, scared the shit out of me havent looked back since.

i honestly suspect thats exactly what happened to him as well. he was out of jail and turning his life around for his kid so im assuming was more or less clean and just went back to the habitual amount and either it was full of fentanyl or it was just simply too much

when they found him they got him to hospital alive but was in a coma for 2 days and never made it out

and thats the sad truth of it, when i was drug tested in the hospital was 100% fentanyl in my system no opiates what so ever

my dad pumped on my chest and gave me cpr for 20 minutes before ambulance arrived and they had to narcan me 3 times

just remember the pale white face on my dad and the scared to death look, that in itself was enough to stop.

knowing the amount of hell i put him through for almost 15 years of active addiction, grateful to still have the people in my life that i do, and just grateful to be alive.
