lmao.... wat does it mean by snipe?

snipe is a term when someone is xferring a high value item on MP to someone for a very low amount say 1-15 fg and someone else takes the item that wasnt suppose to get it.

So they "sniped" it off MP

ive done it, its happened to me, etc etc etc

This time was my own stupidity, not xfer, but he still wouldnt give it back. Even offered a "holding fee." Just pure, unadulterated greed and bad manners. Momma didn't raise him right.

Someone wants to buy it, it's on the market as we speak for 2900. 14x ee lvl 40 sword that Adam would really, really like back. You can probably hold off a bit though---Adam says he only paid 2100 for it, so it will likely drop a bit more.

yeah, before we had the nice transfer option, people would watch the LS forums and tend to watch for certain patterns, then just sit on the MP and continue to search for example 100+ ee weapons and when they see one for extremly low amount of fg they buy it.

its 80% luck-20 percent searching for one

i thought sniping was like hey im in cata and im sniping all the items

sniping is more related to cata now, but back in the days it was referring to stalking the MP for nice items at low value
