Good Evening Good Guys and Good Gals.

I hope everyone has had a WONDERFUL day!!
Gained a few lvls this morning early with my coffee...y'all need to get up earlier!!
Then spent the rest of the day outside in the BEAUTIFUL sunshine and then most of the evening!!

Spent several hours making repairs to the Myrtle B. Paddleboat.
This is a boat my Dad built in his little woodshop. and named for my Mom.
He built it as a birdhouse because Mom loved them but decided to seal it up against birds getting in.
However, he left the pool intact on the bow, for a birdbath!
This little boat measures just over 50" from the end of the Gangway to the back of the Paddlewheel.
23" to the top of the Stacks and 10" wide.
Dad built it without any kind of pattern. Cutting each piece to fit.
Last year when Dad died my Brothers and Sisters decided I should have it.
Particularly since I have had that nickname/handle Steamboat all my life..

I had to do several repairs including re-attaching the gangway.
But it's nearly ready to work into the landscaping out here.



And with Michelle's help here and there it was easy to keep focused on what I was doing (NOT!)!!



I'm about to call it a night.
I'll be on in the morning prolly around 7:30 lvling a bit.
Let's have coffee and play!!
