Greetings fellow slashers

ok heres a question for you folks since baileyIII and protien say im wrong not sure who there jsp names are you guys can figure it out

if melee is driving and hes lvl 37 and a lock is 40 monk 40 2 other toons lvl 39 we would be fighting lvl 37 monsters and so on as the driver levels now heres the question if the lock drives would we be fighting lvl 40 monsters and would the lock gain faster exp and lvl quicker if he drove

and the 37 me made the game

i say he would gain faster exp if he did drive and then what a melee driver would

and we would still be fighting the lvl 37 monsters and so on not the lvl 40 monsters that he so called claims

in other words i think melee drivers would gain same amount experience casters do when they dont drive meaning casters driving is a dumb idea if everyone wants to stay at least close to same lvl

It used to be that way, but paul changed how the monster level caps work, so I am uncertain now. You should get faster exp if the higher level is driving unless you are out of the 3 level range. Say you somehow were level 35 in a level 40 game, you would want to drive to catch back up to them, then pass the lead once you were back within the 3 level range. I think.

e: Casters seem to gain quicker EXP because they can out-action you pretty easy due to the AOE hit giving them lots of actions which translates to more exp. This may be what he was getting at.

ok let me put it another way say a caster and a melee were the same lvl its a full group 5 people the melee is driving so we know hes getting a exp bonus hence being a driver would the caster still gain more exp then the driver since its melee

then why would the me lvl 37 give driver access to a lvl 40 caster if i want to catch up to his lvl befor he hit lvl 45 since he does more action to me casters being drivers isnt a bright idea

You weren't even listening to what we were saying.

it was a THREE, get it THREE person group.
And i asked to drive, and you said I would gain exp faster than you even tho I was 40 and you were 37.
Clearly I'm wrong.

E: then you said there was no point in going in TD's because it gives no exp... I just couldn't take it because you' were'n't listening

E2: If I was leader instead of you, the monsters would be lvl 40 hence I would be gaining exp.
That's why I wanted to drive because the monsters are the level of the driver NO MATTER if you switch up or down left or right.

E3(sigh lol): I was trying to explain to you in a group of 2 melee and one caster that if the caster doesn't 1 hit the mobs, we would level equally because EXP is based on the number of actions you have. In a 5 person group with 2-3 casters that is when casters outlevel melee.
YOU were talking about casters having magical powers of outleveling everyone anytime anywhere.


No... because the monsters are lvl 37... and I'm lvl 40.... that is why I wanted to drive... but you were saying casters outlevel everyone anywhere.
