My days of D2 have been over for quite some time... then again, I played since the days of... well, Diablo 1... then pre-purchased D2 back in the DAAAAAY (circa 1999??? holy shit...) so I logged like... years into that game.

Diablo 3 will probably own my soul for a little while, but I just can't get back into D2 anymore... the "good ol' days" for me are gone...

Jesse's Good Ol' Days:

Lance Barbs owning duels
Charsi dupe that went public (hello 10 accounts full of sojs!)
Fail To Join Game was commonplace and just about guaranteed
Ubers? Not sure what you mean about that...
Enigma? WTF was that? Only sorcs can tele u noob, or pros with teleport amulets...
ITH ETH "Fury" Balrog Blades... oh my sexiness...
TPPK and Townhacks ruined things for a while, but the legit duels were still pretty intense.

the days when iDuel and SoZ-Neo roamed the USEAST server and didn't take any prisoners... yeah that was me

It takes time to get into LS... and the characters are all the same... but ... once you get into it during downtime... you will be at it for awhile
