How is that not a waste of 7k ?

Between our staff and robe. I can come up with ~600Mana. Add the Int that I get on both of those items and I just can't see how this is valuable.
In previous patches this would have been very nice. With the avalability of shrining though.... I just don't see the 7k value.
Maybe I'm looking at this wrong.
