Just posting quick cause my phone line is bad... too much water and some wires must have too much humidity somewhere along the line...
Damn dial-up...
I'll call the phone company but they won't fix it before Monday or Tuesday
I keep getting disconnected and there is noise on the line...

I have some extra cable. I can hook you up to my line.

e/ would you like for me to do that before I shovel the drive, split some firewood and take care of the horses so that you can be slashing while I do that instead of waiting for me to finish?

I usually get 31 kb/sec but with the noise on the line, I am only at 19 kb/sec.... almost half of my regular dial-up...
I'll try slashing later tonight, hoping I don't get disconnected too much...
