I would love to join you but I am changing two bad tie-rod ends on my car today... and the stupid parts store gave me the wrong ones, now I need to go bitch at someone.

I will be back on in an hour or two max, ready to get my monkey to MQ and maybe slash on a mule!

Different strokes for different folks. And as far as the adjustment, I just backed the lock nut off half a turn, then put the new one back in the same spot the old one was in, it gets it pretty close to correct. If it was someone else's car I would recommend an alignment, but it is just my "winter beater" so it is not really that important... just going to get thrashed into a snowbank at some point anyway.
