lol no .... Ninja = Rogue ... not a monk .... btw monks cant use swords + i think ninja's can use Medium armours unlike monks ... monks are more like Mages

Monk = Daggers / Staff / Spears

So just for + swords Ninja > Monk ... as i said you past monk really fast you got really luck ... cant complain about ninja

monk-- can use staff set wich is very cheap solution to get higher damage.

ninja-- you will be VERY, VERY angry with it, when u stuck before warlock, like me last season 30-40 fail with that. specially when u hit 3rd door fail.
