Do it while the items are cheap, ended up selling my 180 EE LV 50 Earth for 1,700 FG since NOONE showed interest in paying what it was worth.
+ it's pretty much the only way to make FG in LS nowadays if you're going for a weller, not to mention it's fast lvling.

Charms aren't that cheap either and you need some int gear and perhaps a heal charm if you go caster
but imo caster>melee.
