(imo) it cant be fixed in a safisfied way, its same like timing out in diablo2, those games are based on packets sent from Client to Server and other way, too.
Summon a Monster in arena, after 10 mob-attacks without an action u´ll be disconnected/kicked, cause server doesnt receive client-action-packets.
if njaguar would implet that option for catas, too , there would not be any change to go afk for some seconds, while group keeps on engaging.
Now imagine you are lagging hard and u close LS-Window quickly, usually you would send a packet which tells the server your client disconnected, when lagging hard
its sent with delay, but you closed that windows already , so it could be, its has not been sent and you´ll you have to wait for timing out (server doesnt receive any client´s packet)
When server-connection is lagging it doesnt mean that it is not reveiving/sending packets, its more than loosing packets, single packets will be still received/sent in most cases and unless nobody is DDOSing that server extremely. However .. Dmg is caluculated server-sided, so you dont rly need to receive packets before your char dies ( actually it dies on server not on client - otherwise you could block those packets and it would be god-mode )
