I wasnt going to make a public showing of this, but since Benny felt the need to tell me to "FUCK OFF" I am going too. I was just going to make a nice statement that me and Kelley were leaving and thanks for all for the help and good times, but after his actions today I am just really disappointed in him.
I feel people should know the truth of the chain of events, I hate gossip.....
Earlier on Vent a guy (who was a soldier over seas) was bragging about stealing a washing machine out of a mud hut and blowing it up. He thought this was the greatest thing and was laughing up how his best friend and his own brother were in on filming it. Then goes on to bragg about how they put it on YouTube and its so great how it was ok to steal it because they obviously stole it to begin with and then they destroyed it with a frag gernade.
I sent Benny a pm saying how I had to get off the Vent before going off on that kid for being a childish idiot and posting that kind of crap online makes all soldiers look bad. Then Benny pm's me back was saying soldiers should be able to do anything they want as long as they come home ok and that he found this funny and supported it.
I responded with telling him how my freinds and family range from Pearl Harbor to Nam to current Pentagon work and that I really expected alot more from Benny and was disappointed in him. I stated me and Kelley would be leaving the guild and giving back fg/items we had borrowed. I then thanked him for helping me get started in HC LS, but we have too much respect for ourselves and country to stay here and to have a good day.
His response to this was to rage me telling me to FUCK OFF and more. He then went on to say his grandparents are decorated soldiers and he is really really pissed I am saying hes unpatriotic. I have seen Benny 2 times get mad and comment on people to not use the "N-Word" and how he wont tollerate it so it really bothers me that he supports troops acting like children and then putting it online and making all soldiers look bad but by god, dont be racist. Kids doing this stuff today is what makes all soldiers look bad, it also makes one wonder what did soldiers did when there was no video cameras watching in the past, thus making even his own grandparents look bad........
I wont stay apart of a Guild were the leader cares about racist comments and tells me any issues with others should be delt with by the guild leader. So I tell the guild leader my concerns and he doesnt care and just tells me he fully supports it, but yet he cares about someone being racists and comes down on me for a one-liner of "spam" in a trade thread when I was just trying to explain something and wasnt even trying to be rude....He cares about that stuff, but supports our troops blowing up things for fun, stealing and more, then putting it online for all too see......Then when I am say I am disappointed in him for it and that I am leaving the guild over it, he tells me to "FUCK OFF" and uses that word 2 more times in the message. Then he waits 2 minutes and sends me another pm saying I should talk with him on vent before leaving because I would be leaving a good thing....
You know he is right, there is some good people in this Guild, I just wish the leader would think before acting alittle more. If someone pm's a Leader about being upset over something they should not go into detail about how much they support it. Welp Benny took a stand here and in my opinion its a really piss poor one. No leader should ever tell someone they want in their guild to fuck off and just get over something. Then turn around and tell them not to go because they are leaving such a good thing.....
I am really disappointed in this mornings chain of events and really hope for the sake of his followers that he learns to think in the future before acting........because this exactly what hot headed people cause to happen.......
