I understand where you're coming from. I lost everything that I owned too, not by the retaliatory Russian hackers, but by something else altogether I guess. I understand how you feel. I became very indifferent towards the game itself, and the people here. I felt like I got robbed of something I worked very hard on, and nobody really cared past the superficial "I'm sorry that it happened" but then people just went on their marry way and continued on without me. That kind of rift/division was what led me to throw away many good friendships of mine, it caused me to leave the Empire guild (which is something that a sound-minded individual would never do
), and it caused me to take several months off and away to get some distance to try to deal with my suppressed anger and frustration.
Anyway, I have eventually found my way back here because this game is what I really love and the people are people I really like, so this is where I like to spend some of my free time. I hope you will do the same sometime. Bad things happen to good people and sometimes it takes some time to figure out what's really important, and even sometimes progress requires a complete rejuvination and return, a reemergance of something (or someone) that's completely different before you really can be who you are again.
I hope this makes some sense to you and you will find yourself coming back to us soon. I haven't really gotten to know you very well but from what I know I really respect the person that you are and I hope our paths cross one day soon and you will once again be stuck in a Labyrinth and can't get out.
