does not matter if your sound card drivers are not installed.

Yeah dunno how to check for a sound card. Need to sleep for training tomorrow though. Night guys.

if you have your install disks that came with computer there should be on that says drivers. if you replaced your sound card you would have to find the box for the name or take your computer apart most sound cards have the item name on them i do believe.

control panel > device manager > sound/video/game
the actual device (speakers) you're using should be there, just right click and hit update driver software.

If you can't do it that way and your speakers were bought with the computer, google the computer model and search for drivers of the computer. (For example: "HP dv6000 drivers")

if they are not installed they will not be there but sorry guys this isnt LS related so i will stop <3

for some systems yes. my laptop when i reinstalled vista (horrible OS) did not reinstall ALL my drivers just the ones needed. (which included sound but not all are the same.)

Also my moms computer when reinstalled did not install any drivers.
