E: so i just got this..

it dropped me a lvl 25 staff then instantly 3 monsters appeared and killed me in 3 hits

wtf?

E2: just killed them and they dropped ALOT of high lvl gear, all crap tho

yeah ive seen chests spawn monsters before.. but this was different

the chest actually popped up and dropped me an item, i clicked the item, then 3 mobs appeared and i was killed almost instantly

was prolly just a random strong EP group, never fought EPs that strong though

e: though i didnt get any "evil presence sends a shiver down your spine"

I think you had a lag spike. Usually, if a chest spawns Ep's it wont say it, it will just spawn same time as the treasure items. Not the way you describe it, click an item, then Ep's spawn.

Unless something has changed without any notice ofc
Oh and even Sneaqy can spawn from a chest and it wont even inform of it being an Ep.

Yes, I know this isn't D&D, but that's what I always called those buggers. I have had them give up items real fast first as well, I think it's bugged and does not work 100% properly.
