In theory, there's a 1/720 chance to pass on alchemist and there are 2 alchemists, so I would think the chances are 2/720 that the ladder will reset every day (if they each mq every day - and they seem to, as far as I've noticed). Again, in theory, that would mean that the ladder will reset about a year after they both became alchemists. However, this isn't really true because statistically speaking there's a 2/720 chance for them to pass every single day (again, if they both mq every single day) and that's not going to change even 3000 days from now.
The answer is that nobody has any sort of a clue. It could reset tomorrow, it could (in theory) reset five years from now - the odds, of course, also increase as more people become alchemists. Given Middy's ridiculously lucky pass rate, it could reset soon - but there is absolutely no way to predict even an estimated time of reset, in my opinion. There's a chance every single time they open those doors.
