sure your mic plug works? and sure your plugged into the rite one? n check if the mic is muted under sound options, its usauly defaulty is muted.

hmm, weird.

i no its pissing me off

id try plugging it into each plugin and see if it works on any of them, alot of sound cards let you re-arange what plug does what, mabye someone changed it without you knowing.
