What format media are you using, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R/RW?

What format is your optical drive?



Silly questions but probably the roughest time I ever had putting Winblows back onto a PC was because it had an older CD-R drive and my copy of Winblows was on a CD-RW.

Also, fresh install or are you installing over an existing OS?

havent got a clue mate

the disk says DVD+R on it. Haven't got a clue what the optical drive is but I've never had a problem reading DVDs before.

It's a clean install onto a completely fresh HDD
