Managed to get about 13% in the last 2 days as well, level 17 here we go.
But i fear it will still not be enough to go for lvl 10 items at an average success rate finally.
Assuming the exp system will change again for lvl 5 items and less items bring something for the proficiency.
Looks like only arcane+ will give exp then. Since there are hardly any around, i need to go for lvl 10 magical - rares then although they are still hard.
Thats probably the hardest step ever then, but afterwards ( if i ever do it
) it should be rewarded with lvl 10 at a good success rate finally
I know the feeling Malte, It took me from lvl 6-11 before I could start muting lvl 10 Magicals (highest I can do for that tier) and they take me 3-4 mins a piece to strip, then remute the essences with an item. The good thing about muting, is every item is 2 mutes (stripping gives prof, then remuting the essence as well). Ive done 80 mutes so far, and thats brought me up to 41%, so another 120 will get me to lvl 12. I figure 200 transmutes on average per proficiency level and about 9-10 hours of time invested. For a skill like this, to get back to muting godlies I think its worth it. Glyphing takes so many more items to do, but its another skill definitely worth building (for all those annoying 20-30 stat items that wont sell, they become climbing boosters
)
