Luckily I only lost 4% Ice Prof since I was only at 18% when I died...

But seriously... when nothing else goes down but LS, it's pretty lame.

Is that when the monster hits you normally and you can't do anything?
I always have another LS window up with my password typed in when soloing to kick myself out before dying in case something like that happens.
