They aren't. It's just math.

For 3 doors: (1/3) chance of passing first door * (1/2) chance of passing second door = (1/6) Chance of passing MQ

For 4 doors: (1/4) * (1/3) * (1/2) = (1/24) Chance of passing MQ
For 5 doors: (1/5) * (1/4) * (1/3) * (1/2) = (1/120) Chance of passing MQ
For Alchy it's (1/720)
