That's one reason.
Another is that i don't see the point gaining points for a guild that I won't be in for a long time anyway.
I will wait a few weeks until I join a guild now, and I don't feel like doing MQs for nothing.
Moreover, it's getting boring with 7 fails in a row (i know it's not as much as others have failed, but one MQ is like 3 days playing for me).

#1. one MQ is 3 days playing for you. Its about a month 1/2 for me. Not that i dont slash everyday. I do most of the time just gear is problem for me.
#2. Dont feel like ganing point for a guild that you now left? Perhaps you should just slash to 71 and create a new character then level to 71 on that and continue until you join a guild.
#3. sure 7 fails will get annoying, but you have to pass someday. Just thank god your not someone whos going to fail like 30 times in a row.

#1: Well, you have a point. Still, 3 days playing is not a good time-investment if the fun is missing.
#2: Would be possible of course, but it's A: not too much fun if you don't know if you pass or not and B: it would end up for me like that: Have 4 chars on 71, join a guild, make MQs, have 4 sammys (what to do with 4?). (or none, which is even more frustrating)
#3: Who says I will not have 30 fails in a row ?
