FYI: Guardians are awful starting characters, as James knows.

Most of them in catas are horrible healers, if you do make one get HM and a nice heal charm set...otherwise ppl are going to hate you.

Again, guardians aren't the cheapest or best beginner chars

Its never too late... Esp if he's only lvl 13. Reroll ftw... If its really needed that is... Im trying to help him thru it. I dont want to hate his too......

Frazor ( or anyone in the guild) if you want look through my chars and anything on my level 1 chars I can lend out

edit- also the charms on bloodonthewall are up for grabs too

Remember damage isnt really whats importnt with a guardian. Good heals are what people are looking for.

It takes a while to build profs. Especialy in catas. Just remember, guardians do 2 things

1) First and foremost- Heal
2)Tank. Its good when they can take the front, but mid is acceptable with decent heals. Good tank and heals will get you raves. Then you will be the 3rd guardian that I like. It takes time ( and fg) to make a decent set up. You will most likely be able to borrow items from the library and some other guildys to fill the gaps you have until you can get your own.

I've never really liked playing support...

indeed.. guardians = tank/healing class.

but who wants to play a healer just starting off? id suggest trying a fighter. its a well-rounded melee class.

Then you need to make a melee char. I reccommend a fighter,but thats just my preferace.
