follow the mathematics used in the movie "21"

if you have a ket combo in mind
you only have a 33.33% chance of choosing the first door correctly.
should you pass the first door, you believe you have a 50% chance of passing
this is incorrect. should you choose to switch your combo you have a 67.8% chance to pass
you this as you will.

its fluctuating possiblilities

ist also known as the 50-50-90

if you know nothing about a question and have a 50% chance of getting it right and a 50% chance of getting it wrong
90% of the time you will get it wrong.

i want to see the mathematical proof of it...not a movie :p It really is interesting to me, but until i can see it proven, i wont believe it :p

ok then answer this question :

assuming you know nothing about atomic masses; (and please dont google this) be honest!

what is the atomic mass of helium?

A) 2.697
B ) 4.0

there you go.

but why did you pick this choice?
because it was an even number or because it was choice b?

well actually, i guess i cheated a bit...i knew that helium was 2 in atomic number (aka protons), so that would mean that more isotopes of helium would have to have only 1 neutron and that some would have to have 0....so idk if that was a cheating guess or not...but i got it wrong anyway right?

so i guess we need something that is totally new to me :p

you got it right but you knew at least a lil about the subject. the experiment was supposed to be about something you knew nothing about.

got vent?
