I'm okay Jerm. Slowly making progress ... just need to come up with around $500K to wrap up Dad's estate affairs and such. Tbh it's been pretty hard to carry on with my life having that hanging over my head all the time, but I'm doing it, sorta

OMG....that's so awful. And you have to figure out how to come up with it ALL?

er, well, dad (probably) had sufficient assets to cover his liabilities. and i only have personal liability for my own acts, committed after he passed away. it's more of a logistical problem than anything, but it's not pretty.

and then there's the stupid stepsister who only wants to get in the way of progress, but i expect her to capitulate (or be bulldozed the hell off the road) soon
