yeah im trying dex rouge now and climbing faster than my barb did so far

I like barbs but they are pretty freakin slow... I prefer fighter overall

Fighter/ Rogue Builds are the best imo.
Dex / Str -- crits + high ee = good damage.
Also the next three unlockable MQ chars are mostly melee based (ie. Samurai, Paladin, & Ninja). So you might as well go melee right off the bat.
